How to add a custom favicon to google sites

To add a custom favicon to your google site follow this steps:

1. Click on 'More' and choose the 'Manage site' option.

2. From the left menu chose 'Attachments'

3. On the 'Attachments page click 'Upload' and choose your icon.
1. The file has to be renamed to favicon.ico
2. The file has to be uploaded on the root path (under the 'Location' column it has to be the value: /

4. After the upload the favicon should be changed automatically, if not please refresh page.

To create your favicon save a .png image with the size 16x16.
Then take the file and change it's extension from .png to .ico .
